We need your input and ideas! And we have easy and fun ways for you to get involved. Join us for a walking tour or community meeting between February 27 and March 3 to share your ideas. You’ll have a chance to meet the project team and tell us what you hope to see in the community corridor.

  • Our three walking tours will last about 90 minutes and will focus on better connections and safety for people walking, rolling, biking, and taking the bus around Keawe Street or the Pioneer Mill area.

  • A community meeting on Tuesday, February 28, will include an overview of what we’ve learned so far and an opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions. [JW1]

  • We’re also hosting “office hours” at the Lāhainā Art Show at Cannery Mall on Friday, March 3, to share our work from the week of events and hear more from you.

Participate on Your Own Schedule!

Can't join us the week of February 27? No problem! You can share your input any time through the activities below.

Community Survey

What matters most to you when you think about the future of the Lāhainā and Kā‘anapali area? Where would you like to go? And how would you like to move? Take a short survey and be entered for the chance to win a prize from a local business.

Scavenger Hunt

What’s more fun than getting out and about to take pictures for the chance to win a prize? Check out the Lāhainā and Kā‘anapali area and see how many of our items you can find! Then submit your photos to be entered in a weekly drawing for local business prizes.

Mapping Activity

Where do you travel in the study area? Where are the places you like to visit? And what improvements would you like to see along the West Maui Community Corridor between Lāhainā and Kā‘anapali? Use our interactive map to show us where we should focus … and don’t forget to tell a friend!

Invite Us to Your Event!

Do you have a meeting or an event you'd like us to attend? We'd love to join you! Use the buttons below to connect with our team.

Pop-Up Events

We’ve been popping up throughout the study area over the past several months to gather your input and ideas! Let us know if there’s an event you think we should attend!

Focus Groups

We’ve been hosting focus groups with West Maui residents, workers, and business owners who have expertise in different areas. These areas include accessibility and multimodal transportation, arts and Hawaiian culture, business and economic development, visitor services, housing and real estate, and environment and sustainability.

Briefings and Updates

We have been providing updates and briefings to several groups, including the West Maui Taxpayers Association and Rotary Club of Lāhainā Sunset.
